Immediate opening: bar bender and fixer (Louisiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Washington Parish, Louisiana. You will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
