Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Stanton County, Nebraska. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
