Immediate opening: we are hiring a cake decorator in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. You will work at a cake shop. The role involves pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; score the top of loaves before baking. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
