Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Lyon County, Iowa. The role involves adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
