Hand presser • Adair County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Adair County, Kentucky. The job is in a garment export house. Your main tasks: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
