Vacancy available: lift mechanic (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Ionia County, Michigan. Day to day you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
