Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bath and North East Somerset, England. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
