Immediate opening: construction helper (South Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in York County, South Carolina. You will work on a residential housing site. What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker The role involves hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
