Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Kings County, New York. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
