Gang bricklayer • Hardin County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Hardin County, Iowa. You will work on a commercial construction site. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks You will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
