Reinforcement fitter • Rano, Kano State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Rano, Kano State. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Your main tasks: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
