Aluminium tig welder — Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Franklin County, Tennessee. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
