Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Owan East, Edo. The job is on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Rotating shifts.
