Glass and glazing technician — Wood County

Now hiring: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Wood County, Texas. On a typical shift you will apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; install toughened and laminated safety glass; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
