Ironing operator wanted in Smyth County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Smyth County, Virginia. You will work in a busy laundry. On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Rotating shifts.
