Elevator technician • Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. The job is on a high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Six days a week, one day off.
