Maintenance painter • Marion County, Iowa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Marion County, Iowa. You will work on a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec The role involves: • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller 5+ years on the tools preferred.
