Milling machinist — Ilesha West

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Ilesha West, Osun State. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
