Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The role involves: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
