Banksman wanted in Charlotte County

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Charlotte County, Virginia. The role involves: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience.
