Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Buffalo County, South Dakota. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. Your main tasks: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
