Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in McPherson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in McPherson County, Kansas. The job is on a commercial construction site. You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding We offer $6,250 per project plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
