Production operative wanted in Alexander County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production operative in Alexander County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Six days a week, one day off.
