Now hiring: we are hiring a short order cook in Worth County, Iowa. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. Day-to-day duties: • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs Ideal candidate: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen 3+ years on the tools preferred.
