Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Jasper County, Iowa. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox.
