Gas metal arc welder • Cedar County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Cedar County, Nebraska. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
