Banksman wanted in Monroe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Monroe County, Florida. The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
