Concrete finisher — Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Jefferson County, Oregon. You will work on a building construction site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
