Reinforcement fitter • Kunchi, Kano State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Kunchi, Kano State. You will work on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
