Great opportunity: gas commissioning technician (Alaska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious 3+ years on the tools preferred.
