CNC mill setter-operator — Greater Bridgeport Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. The role involves machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
