Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Marshall County, Iowa. You will work at a high-rise construction project. The role involves lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
