Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Pondera County, Montana. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
