Now hiring: we are hiring a mason's helper in Woodson County, Kansas. The job is on a commercial building project. On a typical shift you will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Full-time with occasional weekends.
