HGV driver • Borough of Thurrock, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HGV driver in Borough of Thurrock, England. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. On the job you will handle: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Part-time with flexible hours.
