Elevator repair technician • Ottawa County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Ottawa County, Michigan. You will work at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Rotating shifts.
