Immediate opening: pipe lagger (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Hamilton County, Illinois. You will work at a cold storage facility. Requirements: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls On the job you will handle: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters 1+ years on the tools preferred.
