Pressman wanted in Dona Ana County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
