Great opportunity: mason's helper (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a mason's helper in Halifax County, Virginia. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Day to day you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
