We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium door and window fabricator in Sioux County, North Dakota. The job is in a glazing and curtain wall company. Day to day you will cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware. Ideal candidate: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines Part-time with flexible hours. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
