Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Hamilton County, Illinois. You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration On the job you will handle: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
