We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Moniteau County, Missouri. You will be based on the press shop floor. Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
