Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain On the job you will handle: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
