Incoming goods inspector • Dewey County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Dewey County, South Dakota. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Meals and transport allowance provided.
