You should have: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • A good head for heights and steady balance • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) On the job you will handle: • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
