Urgent requirement: steel fixer (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. You will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Full-time with occasional weekends.
