Pipe tig welder — Lea County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lea County, New Mexico. Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
