Line cook wanted in Ford County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a line cook in Ford County, Illinois. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Day-to-day duties: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO 2+ years on the tools preferred.
