We are recruiting: safety officer (Cross River State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Obubra, Cross River State. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate You will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦90,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
