We are recruiting: tig welder (Montana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Mineral County, Montana. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
